E-licensing
E-licensing is SABAM’s online declaration module.
Whether you are running a hotel/restaurant/café, organizing occasional events or you are a private individual wishing to enliven his/her website with music, you certainly use works from the repertoire represented by SABAM.
This online declaration module simplifies your administrative steps and offers you the possibility to carry out in a few mouse clicks a tariff simulation or to file a licence application.
Starting from this screen, you can register yourself (via the Login button) or launch a tariff simulation (via the Online declaration button). A prior registration allows you to save your simulation or to send it directly to us in order to confirm your licence application.
For the application, click hier. (link Under construction)
Repertoire Online:
Welcome in SABAM´s online database, in which you can look for information.
This database turns out to be a useful tool if:
- you wish to arrange the music or to adapt or translate the lyrics of an existing song, to make up a medley or to use a sample.
- You will find in it the publisher, who has to grant, prior to the performance or reproduction, his written authorization on behalf of the composer/author
- you wish to release songs on a sound carrier and if you are looking, with a view to completing the label info, for the name of the composer, author and publisher so that the royalties can be distributed properly
- you wish to know whether a work belongs to SABAM’s national or international repertoire
If you do not find a well-defined track, you cannot conclude from this that:
- you do not have to ask the prior authorization for arrangements, adaptations, translations, medleys and the use of samples
- no royalties are due for (public) performances / mechanical reproductions.
The absence of a work in the database can be due to the fact that it could not be declared yet by our members or that it regards a work of composers/authors affiliated to our sister societies. Similarly, the works belonging in their original form to the public domain are not visible in this database.

NIW :
The NIW lists contain works that are not yet identified at the time of creation and which are estimated to yield a profit.
Non-identified means no distribution key has been documented, nor is there a corresponding declaration:
- Sometimes the information for those works is quite limited, in which case we cannot simply identify the work in the international databases.
- If it concerns a work written or originally published by one of our members, we need a declaration in order to document this work.
Authors-composers, publishers and sub-publishers who recognise works they are involved in on these NIW lists, can supply us with the necessary information in order to identify and document the work:
- Authors-composers and original publishers
- send a declaration or use OWR
- and refer to title and work code in this list in these comments - Sub-publishers
- send an electronic declaration (CWR, tape-lite)
- followed by an e-mail to Customer Service (customerservice@sabam.be) referring to the declaration (internal work code of the publisher, CWR filename) and mentioning which NIW work it is intended for (title, work code).

ISIS :

In order to consult your musical works and registered texts: click to that end on WID and then on Find Works. The easiest way to look for a work is the to fill in the title and to click on Query. If the title is found, you can visualize the details thereof by double-clicking on it.
You can receive a list of all your declared works by filling in your SABAM number. You will find this number in the personal data.
E-FIN :
In order to consult your financial distribution statement, in order to obtain an insight into, on the one hand, your assets coming from the distributions and, on the other hand, into the payments that have been carried out, click here. (link Under construction)
You can zoom in on the distribution assets: all the works with detailed information belonging to the chosen distribution can be consulted. Different possibilities as to sorting, regrouping and searching can be implemented intuitively.
Furthermore, the selected information can be downloaded in Excel format.
