MUSIC

BECOMING A MEMBER

Concerts, festivals, radio programmes, DJ’s… These are all means of communication through which music can be distributed on a large scale. Furthermore, the world of music is constantly changing.

These days however, songwriters, composers and publishers have a hard time managing their own copyrights efficiently. That’s why they often rely on a professional, experienced collection society such as SABAM.

SABAM is a civil co-operative society with limited liability of the associates. SABAM only acts on behalf of the authors it represents.

Want to become a member? How to declare your music? How are your royalties collected and distributed? In this section you will find all the answers to your questions.

If you are an author (and not a publisher!), you can register here.

After replying to the e-mail following your registration, you will receive a document with the information you filled out by mail. This document must be signed and returned to us, accompanied by a copy of an official identity document and the number of works required for affiliation. Details will be announced in a side letter.

Publishers can use this document to register.
