SABAM

SABAM’s main concern is the closeness with its authors and it commits itself firmly to the promotion of the repertoire and the support of its members via for instance: the SABAM MAGAZINE, the newsletter of general information, that of practical information for the attention of the audiovisual/literary/dramatic authors, the non-profit organization Culture SABAM… and SABAM itself makes it possible to support top events such as La Fête de la Musique, Les Octaves de la Musique, Les Francofolies de Spa, Dour, Verdur Rock, Jazz à Liège, Média 10-10, the BIFFF, the Festival du Film francophone de Namur... Not forgetting its presence at several fairs and exhibitions.

SABAM also supports some professional organizations such as ARFF, ASA, SAA, Prospère, CISAC, ....

It also proposes to cinema students and professionals to grant them scholarships for developing short films, for the scoring of films (graduate films or professional feature-length films), for subtitling, for supporting the creation of radio works, for training aid, etc.
Finally, it also endeavours to promote its drama repertoire: you can consult online the works of SABAM’s repertoire (theatre online) ; SABAM also proposes scholarships for professional and amateur theatrical companies (managed by the Union Culturelle Wallonne and FECOTA).
