Do you sometimes organise a public reading, a literary exhibition or do you occasionally read a text during a radio programme?
According to copyright law, you also have to obtain the permission of the author(s) if you wish to use a work. If the author of the work that you wish to use is a member of Sabam, then you can contact us for permission. In exchange, we ensure that the royalty is correctly transferred to the author.

If you use a quotation from a text in a book, online, etc., then we speak of a literary reproduction. Sabam is not involved here. Here you need the direct approval of the author or publisher.
Ensure that you always indicate the name of the author when using a quotation!
