Creators Lunch, exclusively for Sabam members

We’ll kick off the day with a Creators Lunch. From 12:00 to 1:30 pm, join us for an exclusive lunch with fellow creators and the Sabam team. It’s a great opportunity to meet other creators and ask any questions you may have about copyright, grants, legal support and more.

Day of the film profession 

Afterwards, you can join "Dag van het Filmberoep", the annual meeting place for professionals from the audiovisual sector. The programme includes talks with leading international speakers from the film industry, including one guest Sabam helped bring to Ghent:

• 2:00 - 3:15 pm | Edward Berger & Volker Bertelmann
  Director and screenwriter Edward Berger (Conclave, All Quiet on the Western Front) and composer Volker Bertelmann will discuss their creative collaboration and the interplay between image and music. Did you know that Berger is also a Sabam member? Following the success of Conclave, he is currently working on The Riders, starring Brad Pitt. Yes, that Brad, who was recently spotted in Brussels and Heverlee.
• 3:45 - 4:45 pm | Rebecca O'Brien
  Producer Rebecca O'Brien, known for her long-standing collaboration with Ken Loach, will share her perspective on socially engaged cinema and the power of stories that are not afraid to tackle societal issues.

After the talks, you are welcome to join the reception from 5:00 to 6:30 pm at the Film Fest Café, where you can continue networking with fellow professionals from the sector.
