Young Professionals Day

In addition to the pitching session and Members’ Evening, the festival will also host a Young Professionals Day. This edition will focus on filmmakers’ personal involvement in their subject matter. Who or what do you represent as a filmmaker? What impact can a particular perspective have on certain topics? Is there a growing tendency towards greater caution among young filmmakers? Can every filmmaker tell every story? What ethical considerations can arise? And how can you avoid self-censorship while remaining conscious of the choices you make and the position you take?
