From streaming to payment: here's how it works

  • Your work will be made available on a streaming service

  • The platform reports usage metrics (such as views or playback time)

  • We receive royalties based on that usage

  • We distribute that revenue among the rights holders

  • You receive your share

How is your reimbursement calculated?

Your reimbursement depends on:

  • the number of times your work is viewed

  • the platform’s revenue (subscriptions, ads, etc.)

  • the total number of works on the platform

  • your contribution to the work

Your compensation is therefore determined in proportion to the use of other works on the same platform. The more your work is viewed, the larger your share of the revenue.
