From Use to Payment: here's how it works
  1. Your work is copied (photocopied, printed, or used digitally) or loaned out in a library
  2. Users pay a fee for this through statutory licenses
  3. Sabam receives these fees through collecting societies such as Reprobel and Auvibel
  4. Distribution is based on your work declarations
  5. You will receive your royalty

Good to know: without a declaration of your publications, we cannot award any compensation.

Submit your declarations each year before September for the previous year’s publications. Late declarations cannot be processed for this royalty payment.
