From booking to payment: how does it work?
- Your work is programmed and performed
- The organiser provides the title of the production
- They pay royalties to Sabam
- We calculate your share based on the report
- You will receive your share
How is your income calculated?
That depends on:
- the number of performances
- the revenue from the performance or the production’s artistic budget (we apply a percentage to the higher amount)
- your contribution to the work
The more often your work is performed and the larger the production, the higher your compensation will generally be.

- Both professional and amateur productions can generate income
- Every additional performance counts toward your compensation
- Make sure your work and performance dates are listed correctly. This is the only way we can accurately calculate and pay your royalties
