Sabam participates in the AIR project (Automatic Image Recognition) in collaboration with other copyright management organisations. This project is managed internationally by CISAC (the International Confederation of Societies of Authors and Composers). AIR is an innovative software program that can automatically recognise digital images. The program has been specifically developed for the graphic, visual and photographic arts.
The program uses so-called 'fingerprinting' technology, with which images can be traced automatically (on the internet, in PDF files, in video images, etc.). What is needed for this? The largest possible database with images of those works. And we could really use your help with this.
May we ask you to send us (digital) images of your works? We will then include these images in the database so that we will be able to manage your copyright royalties even more efficiently.
Please take a look at these terms and conditions. When you send us images, we assume that you accept these terms.
Do you have a question? Please send an e-mail to email@example.com or call us at 02/286.15.02.
Watch the video below for an introduction or read here how to send us your images.
