How is your income calculated?
That depends on:
- the type of use (full recording, excerpt, etc.)
- the reach and frequency of the broadcast
- your contribution to the work
Any rebroadcast of a production in which your work appears can generate additional income.
Good to Know
- Even if your work is used only in part - for example, in a clip or a short scene - you can still receive compensation
- International broadcasts are tracked through our network of sister organizations
- Proper registration of your works helps ensure that you receive what you are entitled to
