When will I receive performing royalties for the use of my works abroad?

On average, royalties for performances abroad are paid out two years after the performance. This is because we first need to receive these royalties from our foreign sister associations, then process them and only then can we pay them out to you.

So suppose that your work was performed abroad in year X. Then Sabam usually receives the corresponding royalties from the foreign association in year X+1 and pays you these royalties in year X+2.

The international performing royalties are distributed in May and November. You can find our complete distribution schedule on our website.

To make sure that we and our sister associations are aware of all your performances, it is best to notify us as soon as possible of the use of your works abroad using MyPlaylist, one of our handy eServices.
