Sabam manages your authors’ rights and guarantees that you will receive compensation when your work is used in public. You do however have to become a member of Sabam. So don’t wait any longer and click here.
It is not Sabam’s job to protect the works of its members. You do not need to become a member of Sabam to protect your works if they are not used in public. Do you want to register your manuscript, models, demos or other works? Please contact a notary or deposit your works with a depot service such as OnlineDepot.
Our mission is to ensure that you receive compensation when your works are used in public. As long as this is not the case, there is no point in joining Sabam. So wait a moment before becoming a member until your works are used in public for the first time (e.g. during concerts, on radio or television, on a download or streaming platform, on a CD or DVD, on a website, in a book, magazine or catalogue).

Sabam listens to you and makes your voice heard. We defend your interests at all political levels and in negotiations with broadcasters, online platforms, etc.

As the Belgian home of authors, composers and publishers, we maintain close links with the cultural sector and its professional federations in order to represent your interests in the best possible way.

Are you an all-round artist who is not limited to one artistic discipline? Good! Neither are we.

Sabam manages the authors’ rights of musical, audiovisual, literary, theatrical, choreographic works and works of visual art.

Suppose one day you create a completely different type of work. No problem! We remain your single point of contact and can also manage the rights of this new work at no extra cost. This is unique in Belgium. It simplifies the management of all your creations and reduces costs.
