What is reprography?

Reprography is a fee that authors enjoy in compensation for the photocopies that could be made of their works (on paper or other carriers). A few examples: newspaper or magazine articles, short excerpts from books, pictures, music scores, …

Consequently, the reprography right does not apply to film productions, radio or television shows, CD’s, works on CD-ROM, works available via Internet, computer programmes and electronic databases. By the same token, formats bigger than A3 are not taken into account because they cannot be copied.
