Does Sabam also represent foreign artists/authors?

Sabam not only represents the repertoire of its Belgian members, but also that of foreign sister associations with which it has signed a reciprocity contract.

Whether it concerns German Schlager music at a carnival, a broadcast via satellite in a kebab shop, a salsa song during a Zumba class or a soothing tune in a Chinese restaurant, Sabam ensures that the royalties are transferred to the sister association and thus also to the affiliated authors.

An overview of all sister associations with which Sabam has concluded a reciprocity contract can be found here.
